TELL THE STORY

The type of urban artefact discussed in this manifesto is often surrounded

by complex social, urban and political circumstances.

It is preceded by a story of growth followed by a spectacular downfall.

This story must go beyond its walls.
It must go out and mix with its surrounding
environment, whether urban or natural.

These ruins should not be opaque façades that hide the potential

that could be hosted inside them. They should not cover

the industrial treasures protected there.

Machines, tanks and countless other inventions must interact with society and
public spaces, enriching the streets and squares of our depersonalized cities.

We must bring the story of these places closer to people and spread part of their legacy

to prevent the symbols of their era

from disappearing into oblivion.

           QUARRIES AND LANDFILLS OUR FORESTS.

VII.    THE LEAST SOPHISTICATED ASPECT OF THE SOLUTION.

VIII.   HONOUR HER (HONOUR NATURE).

IX.      BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE.
